When parents call, we like to give them the most current information we can. Parents also get our referral number from this website as well as other internet sources. For information on the 15 Hour Advanced Training Course, go to the Training page. To see the Family Child Care Rules & Regulations, (eff. Jan. 1, 2010), go to www.colorado.gov/CDHS/childcare. On the left hand side of the page, scroll down and click on 'Rules, Regulations'. Under 'Printable Copies of Child Care Rules...', click on the number beside 'Family Child Care Home'. To see the Child Care Resource Packet, go to www.colorado.gov/CDHS/childcare. On the left hand side of the page, scroll down and click on 'Resources'. When that page opens, scroll down and click on 'Resources' again. Select 'Child Care Resource Packet'. This packet includes sample sheets to include health forms, sign-in logs, etc. as well as suggestions for providers. If providers would like to see a copy of their licensing record with the Colorado Child Care Licensing Division, go to www.colorado.gov/CDHS/childcare. Scroll down under the paragraph 'Child Care Licensing and Administration' to 'Licensing Histories of Child Care Facilities' and follow the directions. This is the same information parents would see.
