ECE 175: Child Health Liaison. The Alliance for Kids, Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC) and the Health Department have partnered to offer a 3 college credit course to provide health and safety quality improvement education to early care and education providers. Starting in August, we would like to offer the class to Family Child Care Home Providers. The class is 10 months long (Aug.-May), one Saturday of each month from 9AM-1PM, lunch is included. There is also a mentoring component. A nurse from the Health Department visits the provider at their home once a month for about an hour. Application available.
